The American Business Group of Abu Dhabi is a non-profit voluntary association of individuals and companies dedicated to the promotion and development of commerce and investment between the United States of America and Abu Dhabi.
 The group provides a unique forum through which executives with American business interests may identify, discuss and pursue common interests. Through direct liaison with the Chamber's of Commerce of the United States and Abu Dhabi, the group is able to express the views of the local American business community to both the public and private sectors.
In addition, as a member of the US Chamber of Commerce and the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce (MECACC), the ABG is actively involved in advocating on behalf of our members to improve the US foreign trade environment while building awareness of Abu Dhabi's commercial position in the region and its potential for American businesses.
The ABG conducts business events every month including working breakfasts, luncheons, and Connectors (networking evening events). Other large community wide events that bring together the ABG membership and general American Community are also planned annually. Success is measured by our members participation at all events.
The scope of our activities is limited only by the imagination of its members and the amount of time volunteer members are willing to give. We believe that through our member participation we have become the leading business group in Abu Dhabi. |
